A 30 x 31 blueline map of these two North Bay counties. The map has handcoloring for the county outlines, and shows the township grid, towns and cities, ranchos, rivers, railroads, and roads. A significant portion of Sonoma County is also shown.

There is offsetting from the rollers onto the map (as usual), otherwise the map is clean and free of tears. Most copies of this map—which is scarce in any version, with just two OCLC listings (Berkeley and the Library of Congress)—were issued folded. This appears to have been mounted to canvas with rollers at the time of issue.
